Region Northwest Wins Secretary of the Navy 2012 Energy and Water Management Awards and Federal Energy Management Program
Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Keyport served by RJD Tech REMs has been
awarded the Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) 2012 Energy and Water Management Award for innovative energy management,
successful use of energy, and superior awareness and energy conservation principles during FY 2011. NUWC Keyport
won the top award in the supported command category which includes an award amount of $35K. NUWC Keyport also won a
Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) Award in the "Awards to Teams - Project" category.
Navy bases served in fiscal year 2011 by RJD Tech REMs won two of the four platinum levels of achievement awarded
to navy shore installations. These bases include Naval Air Station Whidbey Island and Naval Magazine Indian Island.
The platinum level of achievement indicates an outstanding energy program and an exceptional year for energy project execution. Each
platinum level of achievement includes an award amount of $5K.
Naval Station Everett won
a FEMP Award in the "Awards to Teams - Program" Category.
